The Month at a Glance

April doesn't ease you in. It opens with a Full Moon revelation, builds through a series of conjunctions that demand courage and clarity, and closes with one of the most significant ingresses in nearly a decade. As a 5-month in a 1-year, the theme is unmistakable — change is not coming, it's already here. Flexibility isn't optional this month. It's the strategy.

April 1 — Full Moon in Libra 12° More is revealed. Pivot and commit.

The month opens at full illumination. This Full Moon in Libra lights up the axis of self and other — relationships, partnerships, the ongoing negotiation between what you need and what someone else needs. What has been quietly building in your closest connections is now fully visible. See it clearly. Name it honestly. Then choose. Libra can weigh endlessly but the Full Moon doesn't offer that luxury. Something that has been in the balance must now tip.

April 12 — Mars conjunct Neptune · 2° Aries Courage meets vision. Act from faith, not fear.

Mars and Neptune meet in the early degrees of Aries — the warrior and the mystic, occupying the same space. This is not a transit for sharp, calculated action. It's for the kind of move that comes from something deeper than strategy. A creative leap. A courageous step toward something you can feel but not yet fully see. The shadow here is confusion — action taken without direction, energy scattered across too many fronts. The medicine is trust. Move toward what genuinely calls you, not what you think you should want.

April 13 — Venus in 16° Taurus sextile Jupiter in 16° Cancer Open your hands. Receive.

This is one of the most genuinely generous aspects of the month — Venus in her home sign reaching toward Jupiter in Cancer in a flowing sextile. Abundance, warmth, nourishment. Relationships feel easier. Creative work flows. Financial matters may open up in unexpected ways. This is not a transit that demands anything of you. It simply asks — are you available to receive what's being offered? Let yourself say yes.

April 16 — Cazimi: Sun conjunct Chiron · 26° Aries / Mars in 5° Aries sextile Pluto in 5° Aquarius Heal the wound. Then build with it.

April 16 carries a double hit and it's worth paying close attention to.

The Cazimi — the Sun conjunct Chiron at 26° Aries — is a moment of profound healing potential. When a planet sits at the exact heart of the Sun it is said to be illuminated, purified, given new life. Chiron is the wounded healer — the part of us that carries an old, deep hurt and eventually discovers that the wound itself becomes the source of wisdom and service. In Aries, that wound is often around identity, courage, and the right to exist fully and take up space. The Sun shining directly on Chiron today says — look at this. Not to reopen it. To finally see it clearly and begin to integrate it.

On the same day, Mars in 5° Aries sextiles Pluto in 5° Aquarius. Where Saturn sextiled Pluto at the end of March with quiet structural power, Mars now brings fire to that same degree. This sextile activates the will — the courage to act on what needs to change, personally and collectively. Combined with the Chiron Cazimi, this is a day where healing and empowered action are available at the same time. That is rare. Use it.

April 17 — New Moon in Aries 27° Plant the seed. Begin.

The New Moon in Aries is the purest new beginning of the astrological year. Aries is the first sign, the initiator, the one who moves before the path is fully mapped. This lunation asks you to identify what you are genuinely ready to begin — not what you've been meaning to start, not what looks good on paper — what your gut says yes to. Plant it here. Aries energy doesn't wait for perfect conditions. It creates them by moving.

April 19 — Mars conjunct Saturn · 7° Aries Do the hard thing. It's time.

Mars meets Saturn in Aries and the energy sharpens considerably. This is not a soft or easy aspect — it's the moment where desire meets discipline, where what you want comes face to face with what it actually costs. Mars wants to move fast. Saturn says not without structure. Together in Aries they can forge something extraordinarily strong — but only if you're willing to do the work without shortcuts. Frustration is possible here. So is real, lasting progress. The difference is intention.

April 20 — Mercury conjunct Saturn · 7° Aries / Mercury conjunct Mars · 8° Aries Say the true thing. Mean it.

Mercury moves through the same degrees as Saturn and Mars in quick succession, adding the dimension of communication to the intensity already present. Words carry real weight today. Conversations that have been postponed may no longer be avoidable. Commitments made in speech become binding — not legally, but energetically. This is a day to say what you mean and mean what you say. The truth, spoken with clarity and courage, can move mountains under this energy.

April 23 — Venus conjunct Uranus · 29° Taurus / Venus enters Gemini Expect the unexpected. Then follow it.

Before Venus crosses into Gemini she meets Uranus at the final degree of Taurus — the anaretic degree, the threshold moment. 29° carries an urgency, a last-chance quality, a sense of something needing to be resolved or released before the door closes. Venus and Uranus together are electric — sudden attractions, unexpected shifts in relationship, financial surprises, a value system that gets shaken loose from what you thought you knew. This is not a gentle transit. It's a revelation.

And then Venus steps into Gemini. The energy lifts, lightens, accelerates. Attraction becomes intellectual. Connection happens through conversation, through wit, through the spark of a mind that surprises you. This is a lighter, more playful relational energy — the kind that enjoys the exchange as much as the outcome. Let yourself be interested. Let yourself be interesting.

The arc of this day moves from disruption to curiosity — from the shock of what just changed to the delight of what's now possible. Trust both.

April 25 — Sun in 5° Taurus square Pluto in 5° Aquarius What are you worth? Really.

The Sun in Taurus moves into a square with Pluto in Aquarius and the question of value becomes unavoidable. Taurus asks what we cherish, what we hold, what we call ours. Pluto asks whether those things still serve us — or whether we've outgrown them and are simply afraid to let go. This square can surface power dynamics around money, self-worth, and security. Don't avoid what comes up. The discomfort is pointing at something real.

April 25 — Uranus enters Gemini Everything changes. Starting now.

This is the transit that will define the next seven years. Uranus — the planet of revolution, disruption, and radical innovation — leaves Taurus, where it has been reshaping our relationship to money, land, the body, and material security since 2018, and moves into Gemini. The focus shifts from what we own to how we think, speak, connect, and exchange information. Expect the unexpected in the realms of communication, technology, media, education, and the way ideas move through the world. This is not a small shift. Pay attention to what begins to change in your own life around this date — it's showing you where the next chapter is being written.

The Thread Running Through April

April is a month of convergence. It opens with revelation and closes with revolution. In between, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury cluster in Aries demanding that you show up with courage, clarity, and a willingness to do what the moment requires. The Chiron Cazimi on the 16th offers a genuine moment of healing in the middle of all that fire — a reminder that the wounds we carry are not obstacles to the path. They are part of it.

The gentle sextile between Venus and Jupiter on the 13th is your reminder that not everything this month is hard — there is genuine warmth and abundance available, if you stay open to it.

The invitation of April is this: stop waiting to feel ready. The 5-month energy, the Aries New Moon, Uranus crossing into Gemini — they are all saying the same thing. The time is now. The path becomes clear by walking it.
